How to restart HP iLO

Sometimes will occur problems that iLO on HP physical server won’t respond via HTTPS web interface because is stucked. To reset HP iLO follow these steps.

  • Open SSH client and logon to iLO IP address
  • Type following commands:
CD /MAP1
RESET
  • Wait 1-2 minutes and iLO Web should have working.
  • To reset iLO via Blade server by Bay number (X is number of your Bay) use following steps:
CONNECT SERVER X
CD /MAP1
RESET
